Development preview
Connect your first form.
1. Name your first form
Sign in with a configured Google account or verified email link. Your starter project is created automatically. Click Create a form, give it a name, and copy the endpoint. Projects organize forms for each website or client; advanced options let you choose another project. Email notifications can go to your verified account email when delivery is configured.
2. Copy the integration snippet
Open your form’s Integration tab. Copy its endpoint into your HTML form’s action attribute and use method="POST". Give each input a name. Required field names must match your settings. The native HTML flow redirects to a hosted thank-you page.
For JavaScript, use the fetch snippet with Content-Type and Accept set to application/json. Keep the same Idempotency-Key when retrying the same fields within 24 hours; use a new key for a new submission. A changed payload with an existing key returns 409.
3. Send a test
Check Accepted, Spam and Needs review in your dashboard. A successful response does not disclose the moderation result. Honeypot traps are silently discarded; other successful submissions are saved. Email is asynchronous: pending and retrying notifications do not mean data was lost. Local email is captured by Mailpit; production delivery is not configured or verified in this preview.
Text fields and limits
Use URL-encoded forms, text-only multipart, or a flat JSON object of strings and string arrays. Requests are limited to 64 KiB, 50 fields, 20 values per field and 8 KiB per value. File uploads and reserved field names are rejected. The optional _gotcha honeypot should stay empty.
Origins control browser AJAX access; they do not make an endpoint private. Requests are anonymous and use no credentials. Paused forms return 410. Rate or monthly limits return 429 with Retry-After; check the error code before retrying. On temporary 503 errors, retry with the same idempotency key.
Available in this phase
Projects, forms, HTML/JSON integration, notifications, spam review, CSV export and retention/deletion controls are available. Your form overview labels local test mode or live moderation status. CleanTalk outages hold submissions for review without sending email. Usage links to your data controls and service status. File uploads, webhooks, team invitations and billing are not available. Website-builder-specific integrations have not been tested. Visual design remains provisional.
